Hey everyone,

I have had such a great week. This was Christmas week, which means my birthday was also this week. I hope everyone had a safe and Merry Christmas and got everything you asked for. I know I did. Wednesday night, Cody and I worked on our Country Café 2009 Review Show for Saturday night. I didn’t realize how much we have done this year. We had so many segments; it was so hard to narrow it down to just a few. My favorite by far was the beach. We filmed an episode and our intro from there. That was so much fun. Thursday was the best day of the week. It was my birthday and Christmas Eve. I turned 20 this year. I have waited 20 long years for this. I got so many phone calls all day long from people wishing me a happy birthday. I never get that many phone calls in one day, it was crazy. The day started out by going to my Aunt Raye’s house for lunch with my mom’s family. That was a lot of fun. I received some great gifts. When I got home, Cody, one of my best friends came over to see me and hang out. He even gave me a UNC Snuggie for my birthday. Thank you very much Cody. It is so warm. They are awesome, so if you don’t have one, you should get one. My parents got me a brand new pair of Versace sunglasses. I was so excited when I opened them up. Unfortunatly the sun wasn't shinning which was not good so I wore them in my house all afternoon. They are so pretty. That night, I went to my grandma’s house for supper and to be with my dad’s family and more presents. Then came Christmas Day. I was so excited. I love opening presents. I got a lot of cool stuff, everything I wanted and more. My favorite was a ring I got from Bailey's Jewelry. They say every girl wants a Bailey Box, and this year I got one. After we ate Christmas Dinner, we went to Raleigh to my aunt's house on my dad’s side for some more food and family. It seems like that’s all there is around Christmas is food. Saturday night, we had our Year in Review show of Country Café. We had some special videos to play for the end of the year and that was the Top 10 Videos of the year. We also showed some clips of our favorite episodes of the year. It was a very successful episode and we hope you all watched. 2009 was a great year for Country Café, but 2010 is going to be bigger and better than ever. This wraps up my blogs for 2009. I hope you all enjoy reading them each and every week. I want to thank my webmaster, Cody, for helping me out with the website and putting the blogs up each week. Make sure you watch Country Café this week for our first episode of a brand new decade. I hope everyone has a prosperous New Year and a Great 2010. Happy New Year everyone!!!

Hey everyone,

This has been a great week for me.  Last Monday of course was karaoke.  Nothing special, but still fun as always.  I didn’t have to take my public speaking test on Monday because I had perfect attendance in that class.  That made me so happy.  The less exams, the better.  On Tuesday, I took my trig exam.  I was nervous about this exam because I did not do too well in that class, although I did get a B as my final grade.  I was so relieved because I thought I failed.  That is my last math class ever, which is so sad because Math was one of my best subjects, and now it’s over.  I am so sad.  On Wednesday, I gave a toast in my public speaking class to my cousin Del for finally graduating from college.  That was so much fun.  I am ready to give a real toast.  That was my last class in public speaking.  That was one of my favorite college classes.  That is so sad.  Later that night, I went to Cody’s house to pretape Country Café.  We filmed a very special Christmas pajama party.  It turned out really good.  We read the Night before Christmas, wrapped presents (well Cody attempted to), and had a lot of fun.  Thursday night, I went to the WHIG-TV Christmas party at CB’s.  There was some great food, cake, music, and a lot of fun.  That’s one of the best things about Christmas, the parties.  There is such a cute, sweet dog there that I claimed as my own.  He loves me and I love him so we are perfect for each other.  I think I should take that dog.  Friday, Cody and I edited the Country Café we had filmed on Wednesday.  It came together really easily and looked great.  Cody’s mom does a great job at decorating her house, and I want to thank her for letting us film in her house.  Saturday night, my parents took me, and my 2 best friends, Cody and Jolisa to the Cheesecake Factory in Raleigh for my birthday.  They have some great food.  We had so much fun.  They even sang happy birthday and gave me an Oreo Cheescake.  That was worth it in itself.  Monday was the first day of winter, and it feels like it.  I love winter so much, and I really want it to snow.  That would be the perfect birthday present.  Karaoke was a very special Christmas edition.  Santa Claus was there and he was giving away gifts.  I even got a birthday cake.  That was so good.  I normally don’t like chocolate cake, but this chocolate cake was actually good.  I also took Gerald’s Duke Santa hat off his head on the air.  That was cool. Make sure you tune into Country Cafe this week on the day after Christmas. We hope to have a great episode. Christmas is less than a week ahead so I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and I will talk to you next week for the last week in 2009.

Hey everyone,

I have had a great week and I hope you all have too.  Can you believe this is my 41st blog?  That is amazing.  Anyway, on Monday, I listened to speeches about planning a wedding.  If I were getting married anytime soon, I would be able to plan it perfectly after listening to those speeches.  That was very interesting.  On Wednesday, my group gave our presentation on parenting skills.  Yes you read that correctly, parenting skills.  I don’t know a thing about parenting skills, so I almost put a disclaimer on it.  My part of the speech was on the discovery years which are ages 5-9.    That was a lot of fun.  It was my last major speech in my public speaking class.  My last speech will be my toast next week.  I wonder who I should give a toast to.  If you have any ideas, let me know.  Thursday, I had my final exam in my World Lit Class.  I was so excited for that because it was my last English class ever.  I can’t believe I’m done with English.  It feels so good.  Thursday night, I went to the Rudy Theater in Selma to see the American Music Jubilee.  That was such a great show.  They put on a great Christmas show every year.  If you have never gone, you should go and see it.  They even said Happy Birthday to me.  That was so cool.  Saturday night, we had a great episode of Country Café.  We had a lot of requests, and we want to thank you all for watching and calling in.  Make sure you tune in this week for a very special Christmas episode of Country Café.  It is going to be great.  Sunday night, I went over to Cody’s house to help him paint his room.  We had so much fun.  We even had a small paint fight.  I was covered in paint when I left his house.  That just about wraps up my week; I have a great week coming up, and I hope you all do too.  I’ll talk to you next week.

Hey everyone,

I hope you all had a great week, I know I did.  Sunday, I went to a Catie’s small birthday get-together.  She had ice cream cake and opened up some presents.   It was pretty fun, and I also watched the end of the Carolina game.  Monday, was karaoke.  That was a lot of fun, even though it was karaoke.  It was definitely better than a couple weeks ago.  Tuesday began my favorite month of the year, December.  My birthday is Christmas Eve, and then of course, there is Christmas.  No wonder December is my favorite month.  Thursday, I went to the Business after Hours at the Country Inn and Suites, and a Customer Appreciation Banquet at the Gateway Centre.  Those were so much fun.  There is always a lot to do at the Business after Hours, and there were a lot of people at this particular one.  Friday night, Cody and I worked on this week’s Country Café.  We filmed from Chico’s Mexican Restaurant and it was a great episode.  We had to pre-tape because I went to my Cousin Gloria’s house with my parents to stay over on our way to Charlotte for the Carolina Panthers game.  Sierra went with us to the game, and it was a lot of fun, even though I’m not a football fan.  There was one downside however; it was freezing cold.  Thank goodness the Panthers won.  The score was 16-6 Panthers.  I have a great week coming up, and I hope you all do as well.  I’ll talk to you next week.

Hey everyone,

This has been a very exciting week. It all started out on Sunday when I went to the Pacers vs. Bobcats game. I used to be a Bobcats fan when Sean May was there, but he left and went to the Sacramento Kings, so I am now an Indiana Pacers fan because Tyler Hansborough plays for them. That was so much fun, even though the Pacers lost. The best part was after the game. We went into the locker room and I got to meet Roy Williams, the coach of the Carolina Tarheels. I even got to shake his hand. How awesome is that? That was the best day ever. Monday began my 2 day school week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. In my Public Speaking class, we learned how to give a celebratory toast. I can't wait to give one. That is going to be so cool. Tuesday, I had a half day because my English class was cancelled. I love the days before the holidays. All of the teachers are so lazy, so they cancel class or end it early. Tuesday night, Cody and I filmed our new Christmas intro for the Christmas season. We had a lot of fun doing it. The song is Santa Baby by Taylor Swift. Wednesday and Friday nights, we edited it, and it looks really good. We unveiled it on the show Saturday night and got a lot of great comments on it. It will soon be on the web site, so keep checking back. Thursday was Thanksgiving Day. We went to Raleigh to my cousin's house to celebrate it with my family. I hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you have a safe holiday season. Saturday, my family went to dinner at Hibachi to meet with someone my grandma took care of who came into town. I don't eat buffet, so it wasn't the highlight of my day, but it was still fun. After that, I went to the station for Country Cafe. We had a great show. Like I said earlier, we unveiled ine intro, which was a great success. Justin came and visited us as well. He took his Thanksgiving break and spent it with us. That is so cool. I was glad to see him. That is all for this week, so off we go to another week. I want to wish my best friend's sister a Happy Birthday. She turns 15 on Sunday so Happy Birthday to her. My birthday month starts this week as well. I start celebrating my birthday on December 1, so it basically lasts all month. I can't wait. I hope you all have a great week, and I'll talk to you next week.

Hey everyone,

I have had a great week, and I hope you all did as well. The week started out Sunday night when I went to Silver Lake with my dad's family. That was so much fun, however, my cousins were having some weird conversations that I am not going to get into, because this is a G-Rated web site. It is so great being the only girl in the family. I don't really like seafood, but they do have great fries. The Tarheels also won on Sunday, so that was a great day. Monday, however, was not so great. Karaoke was packed, and to say the least, it was miserable. I was so ready for it to end. Karaoke had never been so long in my lifetime. Tuesday, I had no school. Spring registration was going on for new students, so the teachers were working with them to get them ready for their classes. Wednesday, I had karaoke at the Holiday Inn. At first, I wasn't so excited about it because of my experience on Monday night, but it turned out to be SO much fun. There were so many great singers there including Erin Strickland, Ronnie Ezzell, Gerald Bunn, and even a man that has been staying at the Holiday Inn for 3 months. I laughed almost the whole night. Thursday night, I went to the Twin County Hall of Fame induction banquet. The Twin County Hall of Fame recognizes great people from the Twin County area that have gone on to do great things. They recognize athletes, motivational speakers, and almost anything that is honorable. I always have a lot of fun at those, but unfortunately, they scheduled it during a Carolina basketball game. I had to leave early in order to watch the game. They were playing Ohio State, and won by only 4 points. We had a huge lead, but Ohio State came back and almost stole the game from us, but we pulled it out in the final seconds. Friday, however, wasn't such a great night. We did not play as good as we could have (a.k.a. we lost). You can't win them all, so we got our loss out of the way early, so now we don't have to worry about it. Saturday morning, I was woke up early to go to the Wilson Christmas Parade. Who has a Christmas parade before Thanksgiving. Apparently Wilson does. That was the best Christmas Parade ever. It lasted 2 hours, and there was so much dancing. I can't wait til next year. We had a great Country Cafe as well. We had a few calls and requests, and we had a lot of fun. I hope you all watched, and hope you will watch next week. If you have never watched our show before, you can watch us on WHIG-TV on Saturday nights from 8-9:30. If you do not receive WHIG-TV, you can click on the Country Cafe link and watch us live by clicking the button on the right that says, "Watch WHIG-TV Live". We hope you enjoy. I hope you all have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your holiday and have a great week.

Hey everyone,

I have had a pretty exciting week, and I hope you have too. Thursday night, I went to the Business After Hours at Bailey's Jewelry. That was a lot of fun. You chat with a lot of business people from around town, and they have food and drinks as well. Later that night, I registered for my classes for the spring semester. I am taking developmental psychology, political science, critical thinking, and world civilizations. I am so excited for next semester. I have 3 classes on campus, and 1 online, and I only go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, I will have an 8:00 class, and I can't wake up that early. Friday night, we went to the Hurricanes game and lost 4-3 in overtime to the Islanders. We were losing 3-0 in the first period, but came back and tied it 3-3 with 2:31 to go in the 3rd period. Then in overtime, the Islanders scored a goal with 15 seconds to go to take the win. It was still a lot of fun though. Maybe one of these days, we will win a game. Saturday night, we had Country Cafe. That was a lot of fun. We had a lot of calls this week. Even my cousin Gloria called from Salisbury, and some of Cody's family called from Ohio. We are now a National Show. Jk. That's going to wrap up my blog for this week. Make sure you visit my web site next week and read my next blog. Have a great week.

Hey everyone,

I have had a great week. The highlight of my week was when the Yankees won the World Series. They are my second favorite team, behind the Braves. We won the series in 6 games and that gave me 2 championships this year. I was so excited, although it doesn't beat when the Tarheels won the National Championship back in April. This week, I helped my cousin Gloria and my mom prepare for the American Red Cross Auction. That was a great success, and a lot of fun. We did not have Country Cafe this week due to the fact that the Red Cross Auction was airing. Make sure you watch us this week. We have some new videos for you all. We raised $5,000 for the American Red Cross, and we still aren't done. There are still probably 40 or 50 more items we have to sell. We will finish the auction Friday night on "The Early Late Show" at 9:30. The Carolina basketball season started Monday night. We played Florida International and beat them 88-72, so we started the season out great. We also played in a throwback 1957 jersey. They looked so cool. I hope we keep winning. We play our next game Wednesday night against North Carolina Central. Go Tarheels!!! Monday night was also karaoke. We started our Chickenshoot for a Turkey. I can't believe Zaxby's let us shoot their chicken. Oh well. That was a lot of fun. Tuesday, I went to the Tarboro Business Expo. That was a lot of fun, and I'm glad I went. One of my loyal blog readers and Country Cafe viewers, David Brewer, asked me to mention him in my blog, so here you go David. Thanks for reading my blogs and watching Country Cafe each week. I have a great week coming up. I have no school on Wednesday, due to Veteran's Day, so that means I have a 3-day week this week. I have a short week every week up until Thanksgiving. I am so excited. I hope you all have a great week.

Hey everyone,

This has been a great week, and I hope yours was too. Sunday was the last day of the fair, and we went to see Eric Church. He sang my favorite song of his. "Love Your Love The Most." That was an awesome concert. I hope you all went to the fair. It was a lot of fun. I can't wait until next year. Monday night at Karaoke, we had our "Monster Mash". There were so many great costumes. I was an airplane pilot. I wonder how many people would ride my plane. That was a lot of fun. Friday night, Cody and I went to the Southern Nash vs. Rocky Mount football game. I went to Southern Nash and he goes to Rocky Mount, so this was our fight. It was a great game, and came down to the last minute, but Rocky Mount won. I don't really like football, but it was still fun. However, the balcony of the press box was loaded with spiders, and for those of you that don't know, I am terrified of spiders. They can kill me. Saturday was halloween. I went to a party at my cousins house, and that was fun. I took Christian and Brandon Trick or Treating, had a sausage dog, and some candy. After the party, it was time for our special Halloween episode of Country Cafe. Since I was a pilot, we decided to make it an airplane theme, and Cody was a special passenger as a Carolina Tar Heels basketball player. That was so much fun. I think it was one of our best shows yet. I hope you all watched. Today, I went to the Carolina Hurricanes game. Unfortunately, we lost the game 5-1 though. It was still a lot of fun. I was much warmer than the last game I went to. Last time, I was shaking. I am so excited, the Yankees are in the World Series. I am a huge Yankees fan, and I want them to win so badly. They are up 2-1 in the series, and they are playing as I am writing this. Make sure you root for the Yankees. I have an exciting week coming up, and I hope you all had a safe Haloween, and have a great November. I'll talk to you next week.

Hey everyone,

This has been a very fast, but great week for me. I hope it was for all of you as well. Wednesday was a busy day. My day started out with my 3rd speech in Public Speaking. I am halfway through with my speeches. I am so excited! I talked about how global warming is affecting polar bears, and how they can reduce the number of polar bears killed from global warming. Later on that day, Cody and I went to the State Fair to film an episode of Country Cafe. We only had an hour due to a high school football game, but the show turned out pretty good anyway. We apologize if you missed the first 30 minutes, because we had to start at 7:30 in order to get an hour. We will be back at 8:00 next week. I beat Cody on the water guns again. That makes like 4 in a row now. He should probably keep his day job. We went to the Julianne Hough concert at the fair as well. That was a lot of fun. She did a great job. On Thursday, my English class was cancelled, and the rest of my research papers were also cancelled. I was so glad when I found this out, because those research essays were difficult. Friday night, I went to the Late Show. That was a great show, and I had a lot of fun. Tonight, was another night at the fair. We went to see Blake Shelton this time. During one of my favorite songs of his, Austin, the microphone messed up, and he restarted the song. I have never seen this done before. That was funny. He also sang the FreeCreditReport.com pirate song. That is my favorite commercial ever. He said that song makes him a little emotional. That worries me. Jk. Eric Church will close the fair out. Cody and I have tickets to that concert, and it will be a great one. I hope I will see some of you guys out there. It has been a fun 11 days, and I'm sad to see it go. I expect to have a great week, and hope you do too. Make sure you watch Country Cafe next Saturday night. We will be back at 8:00 next week, and should be live. I'll talk to you next week.

Hey everyone,

I have been so busy these past 2 weeks, that I haven't even had a chance to write a blog. I apologize to my faithful readers, and will try to keep it updated each and every week. Friday before last, I went to the Hurricanes game. That was our second win of the season, and I went to both of those. I think I am their good luck charm, because we have only won the games I went to. Who thinks I should go to every game? That Saturday was the Down East Festival, which was pretty fun, even though I’m not much of a festival girl. I spent most of the time at the BBQ Throwdown. After that, we had Country Café. That was so much fun, because we had like 10 requests. We played like 3 of our own picks. Thank you to all of the callers and make sure you watch Country Café this week, on Saturday night from 8:00-9:30. Monday and Tuesday were my Fall Break. It was so much fun because I had no school. I was able to sleep in. Tuesday, Cody and I filmed an episode of Country Café from the Rocky Mount Fair. We rode a camel, watched a bear show, and Cody even rode a mechanical bull. It was a lot of fun, and I even rode a farris wheel for the first time. Wednesday, I finished my Intro to Film class. I was so sad. That was my absolute favorite class ever. How many classes do you get to watch a movie in every day? Thursday was the first day of the North Carolina State Fair. That is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the fair. We went to see Jason Michael Carrol at the Dorton Arena. That was an awesome show. I love his new song, Hurry Home. Friday, I went back to the fair to see Third Day with Gloria, Sierra, and her friend. That was a much better concert than I expected. I have never been to a Christian concert before, but I’m glad I went to that one. Saturday, was originally supposed to be day 3 at the fair, but instead, we went to my Aunt’s house for a family bonfire. We roasted hot dogs, took a hay ride, then we roasted marshmallows and made smores. That was so much fun. I saw some of my cousins and friends like Jett, Christian, Coleton, Gloria, Sierra, and a lot of others. Tonight, I went to the Fair for the third time, I saw Jamey Johnson, and it wasn’t totally boring. I have been to better concerts in my life, but this wasn’t the worst either. I have a great week coming up, including some more great concerts at the fair. If you haven’t been to the fair, you should go sometime this week. It ends this Sunday, the 25th, so hurry up. I’ll talk to you next week.

Hey everyone,
I have had an awesome week, and I hope you have too.  Friday morning, I woke up at 5:30 am to go to Myrtle Beach with Jett and Christian.  That was SO much fun.  Friday, as soon as we got there, Christian wanted to see Toy Story  in 3D, so we went to see that with him.  I haven’t seen that movie since I was like 7 years old.  It is definitely a classic.  After the movie, we went back to the condo and hung out for the rest of the night. Saturday we woke up early to go on the beach for photos. After that we went shopping and on the way back to the condo we saw the best sign we had ever seen. See there is no internet at the condo so we were stuck there all weekend with no internet. The sign we saw was at Duncan Doughnuts and said free wi fi. So we went to duncan doughnuts for about an hour. The sad thing is that was the highlight of the trip. Sunday was so sad. We had to leave and come back home. Karaoke Monday night was awesome. David was back and did a really good job of dj'ing. I've missed him. Gerald is good, but just not the same. Last night, I went to the Hurricanes game with Wayne and Landon. It was so much fun. It went to a shootout. That was cool. I had never seen that before. Today, I had my last film class before the exam. I'm gonna miss that class. It was so much fun. We watched a lot of good movies. This week fall break starts and should be really exciting. Make sure you watch Country Cafe Saturday night. It will be our last live show for a while. Thats about all for now. Have a wonderful week!

9/30/09 Blog # 31

Hey Everyone,

So I guess Wednesday is the new blog day. This past week has been lots of fun. Today, I watched Rebel Without A Cause in my film class. That was a really good movie, even though it was made in 1955. James Dean is the best. I've never seen him before this movie. It should be a requirement to watch that movie at some point in your life. Last Wednesday was also a good day - there must be something about Wednesdays. Last Wednesday, I gave my speech in my public speaking class. That was the easiest 9 minutes I have ever talked. I am giving a persuasive speech next, and I have no idea what topic I should choose to talk about. Gloria came to visit us last week. It's always great fun when she comes. I love her. She helped me so much last week. I had to write a paper on this book that I did not understand at all in my World Lit class. She took the time to help me with that. That was so nice of her. On Thursday, The Relay For Life banquet was held. It was not as good as last year, but WHIG got tons of awards. That was awesome. Over the weekend, I got so sick. Somebody gave me their cold, and it was horrible. I lost my voice, and couldn't talk, and I love talking so I was so sad. Saturday was the worst. I was so sick, and had to spend half the day outside in the cold and then do Country Cafe. MNO was on Saturday night. It was a party, so much fun. They had this awesome parade. I've never seen a parade there before, I've never seen a parade like that. Unfortunately, I had to leave early to go to the station to do Country Cafe. There were a lot of prank calls on the show. Unfortunately for them, things didn't turn out so well. You should never prank call a show, you can get in more trouble than you think. Thanks for the support of those who watched the show to call in with a request or just to say hi. We love hearing from you guys. One of our most loyal viewers was in the hospital, an was unable to watch us Saturday night and we hope he is feeling better. He still called us, so good to hear he's ok. Monday night's karaoke was fun. We had a couple of singers that are hardley ever there. It's always good to hear different people. We pretaped Country Cafe last night from my office, and I made the mistake of doing it again. I'm saying it again, and I'm sticking to it this time. I am not filming from my office again. This week, I learned that I tweet way too much. The good thing is I have quit tweeting what I am currently doing. It's much more fun and interesting to tweet random things and positive quotes. Do I really want people to know what I am currently doing anyway? What if someone was stalking me, plus by the time people read it, I more than likely won't be doing it any longer. It would be bad if I said I was at the mall and you got it 2 hours later and went to the mall, I probably wouldn't be there. I would feel so bad. I can't believe it's October already. I have so much to do. October is packed for me. I am halfway through the semester now, and my film class ends in like 2 weeks. It's so sad. I'm going to miss that class. I have a very exciting week coming up, especially this weeked. Country Cafe is pretaped this Saturday, make sure you watch it, hopefully, it will be good. That's about all for now. Have a wonderful week!

Hey Everyone,

I have had a pretty exciting week. Thursday, I went to IHOP for dinner and ate pancakes. They were so great. If you haven't had them, you should try them. Friday, I went to a raffle in Wilson. It was an event for the Wilson Chamber of Commerce, but unfortunately, I didn't win the grand prize. They had the best food, and it was a lot of fun. Saturday, we went shopping at the mall, which was fun. I love shopping, if I get something. Country Cafe was a rerun because Evan was sick and had to leave early, therefore, Cody and I went to Chico's instead of doing the show. The show would not have been very good without a board operator. Sunday, we went to Parker's Barbeque for a family dinner with Jett and my mom's cousin from Florida, Ginger. That was a very interesting lunch. Sunday night, I was stuck watching the Cowboy's game, and they lost. If I am going to have to watch football, my team should at least win it. Monday, I missed my film class because we went to lunch with Ginger before she went back to Florida. Monday night was time karaoke night at Zaxby's. That was fun, and there were some great singers this week. Tuesday, I spent all day getting ready for my speech. I had to finish my outline, get all my sources together, and practice the speech. Hopefully, I will get a good grade, and it will all be worth it. Last week, I took a mid-term in my film class and I found out that I got a perfect score on my essay. I was so shocked because you aren't supposed to be able to get an A on her essays, but I got a perfect score. I am so proud of myself. Well I have a very exciting week coming up, and I hope you all do too. Make sure you watch Country Cafe Saturday Night at 8. Have a great week!

Hey everyone,

This week has been a great week. Wednesday night, I went to Outback Steakhouse after my mom, Herb and Lanny filmed a Business Focus there. Their food is so good, especially the Mac-A-Roo and Cheese. What kind of name is that? Not fun to order. I love Thursdays. It is my last day of school for the week. I love not having school on Fridays. Fridays are my sleep days. It's the one day of the week I can sleep til 2. Saturday, I had Country Cafe. It was a great show. Justin showed up and surprised us. It was the first time we have seen him since he left for State. I've missed him. It was so much fun. Monday began one of the craziest weeks ever. The county is putting in water pipes all the way down our road. They decided to do our part of the road this week. I have not been able to get in my driveway all week. The construction workers know me by now. They cut our phone lines and cable wires. So I've had no phone, internet, or TV. I'm just waiting for the power to go out. How important are water pipes anyway? I had my midterm in my intro to film class today. I can't believe that class is almost over. I only have four more weeks in that class. That's only 8 more classes, really 7 factoring Fall Break. I'm gonna miss that class. Tonight, I went to karaoke at the Holiday Inn. The second karaoke this week. I can hardley handle once a week, so thank God the second one is only once a month. I hit tweet number 1,000 this week. I'm so excited. That took a lot of work. Very eventful week coming up. Country Cafe is live on Saturday. Justin won't be there, but it will still be fun. Make sure you watch. That's about all for now. Have a wonderful week.

Hey Everyone,

This has been a really exciting week. Thursday, I had Cracker Barrell with Cody and the family. Their French Toast is so good, but I had to watch Cody do his math homework. That was boring. Jk. Friday, I had no school of course and woke up at 2:00. I felt bad because Cody had been up for basically the entire day already. Luckily it was only 11 in California, so I woke up at my normal time. Saturday, I was woke up to go to Raleigh at 11, but we didn't end up going until about 2 or 3, so we didnt have time to shop. We did go to the Cheesecake Factory though. Their pizza is the best. Loves it! When I got back from Raleigh, it was time for Country Cafe. We had a great show, with a lot of new good videos. There were a lot of requests so we want to thank everyone who called in. Sunday, me and Cody went to see All About Steve. That was a great movie. It was about a crossword puzzle maker who was set up on a blind date, but the guy doesnt like her, and she follows him around because she thinks he does. After the movie, I went to a Mudcats game with Cody. We got there in the 8th inning, but there were fireworks, so it was worth it. We won 1-0. Monday was Labor Day, which meant no school. However, I spent all day writing a paper on a play called "Tartuffe." That was really interesting. I am good at writing papers though, so that helped. Research papers are no fun at all. This week's karaoke was the first one that was not the Summer Sing-Off. I was so happy. During the contest, it was way too packed in there. There were some great singers this week though. Also, Michael brought his new limousine out to show the audience what they could be riding in if they won a drawing we are having next week. I wish I could win. Today, after class, I spent almost the entire afternoon making my outline for my speech. I am doing it on the steps to make a movie. That was hard b/c there is so much to talk about with film production. I finally finished and that has been my week. I'll talk to you all next Tuesday. Have a great week.

Hey Everyone,

A lot of exciting things are happening lately. First of all on Wednesday I had my first speech in my public speaking class. I learned that I can not describe myself with three words for more than a minute. Thursday I got the chance to take a ride in Michael Davis's new limo which is awesome. It's my favorite he has had. Also on Thursday and Friday we attempted to pretape an episode of Country Cafe. Unfortunately the rain interfered and we had to stop. Saturday night's show was great. We had so much fun. The show was sponsored by Zaxby's Saturday night and they have the best chicken. Everyone should eat there. Sunday was the best day ever. Cody and I went to the Kenny Chesney concert. The weather was perfect. I got the opportunity to go backstage and Meet Lady Antebellum which is my favorite band. That was really fun. They are super nice and are really good performers. After we watched them, Miranda Lambert came on and then Kenny. He has one of the best shows there is. His concert is like one big party so much better than everybody else's. So that was the highlight of the week. The Summer Sing Off ended Monday night at karaoke. I have never been so glad of anything in my life. Marvin Stone won with Erin Strickland coming in 2nd. Now maybe it won't be so crowded. That's about all for now. Don't forget to watch Country Cafe Saturday night at 8. Have a great week!!

Hey Everyone,

Blog number 26. That is half a year. It doesn't seem like I've been doing this that long. This past week has been super busy since school started and all. Have you ever seen a silent film? We watched one in my Intro To Film class on Wednesday. We saw City Lights, and I thought it was going to be extremely boring, but I was wrong. It was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. On Thursday Cody twisted his knee, I felt so bad for him, he couldn't walk at all hardley. Cody and I went to see Post Grad on Friday afternoon. It was a great movie. Alexis Bledel is a really good actress. Saturday I went to Plymouth to go to the weigh in for my dads fishing tournament. It was horrible weather. It was raing so hard everybody was dripping wet, like they just got out of the pool. The thunder and lightning wasn't good either. The bad thing is that the weigh in is outside rain or shine. Of course fishermen fish in weather like that, so it really doesn't matter. I think that is crazy personally, but these guys make it work so I think that is great. Country Cafe was back on at 8 on Saturday night. It was Evan's first night, and he didn't fall for our prank. He wouldn't even come on TV. We have to work on that. We had so many requests, which we were really glad to get, because we want to play what you want to watch. Sunday, I went shopping at Southpoint Mall in Durham. I love that mall. They have a chocolate store. What could be better than that? They have the best chocolate covered strawberries ever. It was back to school on Monday as usual and today was the first day for Nash-Rocky Mount students. It was my cousins first day of kindergaren. He is so cute. I am so excited. The day we have all been waiting for is almost here. The Kenny Chesney concert is this Sunday and I can't wait. Make sure you watch Country Cafe Saturday night at 8. Thats about all. Have a fun week!!

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all had a great week. I did too, but it started out kinda sad. My Grandma's cousin died Wednesday morning. So sad. But other than that, my week has been great. Friday, I saw the movie The Time Traveler's Wife with my friend Brittany. I really didn't like the movie, who really wants to know when they are going to die. And it was way to hard to keep up with. I still had fun though. Saturday night, we had our first Country Cafe without Justin. I almost cried, jk, but it was sad. R.J. was our technician, and he is new, so our show was messed up, but he got used to it after while, so we apologize for the beginning. After the show, we went to one of my favorite restaurants, Olive Garden. The food was great, but while we were eating, some really rude people came and sat next to us. Monday morning was a great day. I have been out of school for 3 months, so I was ready to go back. I had public speaking and film studies. I am really going to like public speaking. I like talking in front of people, so this class was made for me. Jk. Film studies is also very interesting. That is what I want to do when I grow up and this class will teach me a lot. Karaoke this week wasn't as fun though. Idk why. I can't wait to find out who the winner is. Tuesday, I got to see my favorite teacher ever, Mrs. Pitt. Math is my favorite subject. Well core subject at least. This is my last math class ever, which makes me happy and sad. I also had World Lit. My last English class ever too. Yay!!!!. Well I hope this week is as good as last. I have 1 and a half weeks until the Kenny Chesney concert, which i got my tickets for Monday. I am so excited. That's all for now. Have a great week.

Hey Everyone,

I hope everyone had a great week. I'm so excited this week, it's my last week before school starts, and it also marks 3 weeks 'til the Kenny Chesney concert. August is a great month. The first week of it was so much fun. I went to Pizza Inn on Thursday, and saw my favorite waiter ever. It was the first time I've seen him in forever. He is back for the summer from college. I've missed him. On Thursday, Twitter got hacked into, which was not fun for me. I couldn't Tweet all day long, how does that happen?  Luckily it was back up that night. On Friday night, I went to my cousin's birthday party. He turned 5 years old and is so cute. There were way to many kids there though, and there was water involved, not good. On Saturday, Country Cafe was pretaped. We filmed right outside our studios, and it was Justin's last show. We are going to miss him, but we have a new technician now. His name is Evan, and hopefully he will be just as good. Country Cafe also came on at its new time for the first time Saturday night. The new time is 7:30 pm. We are sorry that we did not announce it if you missed the first 30 minutes. Monday was a good day. Byron came to visit us from West Virginia. He used to sing Karaoke when we had it at Chico's, and he was so good. Unfortunatly he moved away and quit. He came back to visit, and we are so glad he did. He was the special guest at Karaoke on Monday night which was packed. Actually it was overpacked. I don't think one more person could even fit one arm in there. I've never seen so many people in there. You couldn't even move. The contest is turning out great. I cant wait to see who the winner will be. This week, I have a lot to do to get ready for classes next week. So thats what I'll be doing. Dont forget to watch Country Cafe at its new time this week: 7:30. Don't miss it. I hope you all have a great week!!

Hey everyone,

I am so excited to tell you all about last week. Wednesday, I went to the library for the last time this summer to see Sylvan Heights, one of my favorite places ever. After that, I had the best week ever. I left Wednesday afternoon for Pennsylvania and stayed til Sunday afternoon. It was so much fun. We went to the Amish Country, and I have to be honest, I was a little dissapointed when I found out thats where we were going. When we were talking about where we were going, we had almost decided on New York, and I love New York, so I really wanted to go. Plus, the Amish Country sounds really boring, so when I was told thats where we were going, I was not happy. I was completely wrong. That was better than New York, and I'm so glad we went there. On Thursday, our first day there, we did so many fun things. We took a tour of this Mennonite farm. That was so interesting, I learned a lot about dairy farming. I even got the chance to milk a cow. That was so much fun, and we had an awesome tour guide. On Thursday night, I took a hot air balloon ride over Lancaster Couny. That was fun. I could see everything. The best part, however, was not the ride, but the landing. We landed in the middle of an Amish Farm. I now love Amish People, they were so nice and the kids were so cute. Friday, we did some shopping and took a ghost tour, which was not very scary. Saturday was the best. We went to Hershey, PA, the sweetest place on earth! The whole town was supposed to smell like chocolate, but it didn't. We went to Hershey's Chocolate World and had a blast. There was so much to do and I have never seen so much chocolate. It was like Heaven, it smelled so good. We saw how chocolate was made and learned a lot. When we left Hershey, we went back to Lancaster County and rode the Strasburg Railroad. That was awesome. I had never riden on a train before. Sunday, unfortunatly, we came home. I didn't want to leave. It was the best place ever. The one bad thing was the food. All they have is buffets, yuck! Country Café was at the beach Saturday night. I hope everybody watched. We did so much, and it came out great. Make sure you watch this Saturday also. That's about all for now. Have a great week!!

Hey Everyone,

This past week went by really fast. On Wednesday, I went to the library with Cody to film Birdman Dave. If only I was a kid again. Jk. That was interesting. I learned so much about birds. I now want a parakeet, and I want it to talk to me. Thursday was another early day. I have gotten up so early a lot this summer, and I hate mornings, so I’m ready for school to start. Friday was a very eventful day. I got woke up at 7 am b/c the station was off the air. Our equipment got hit by lightning on Thursday night, and unfortunately didn’t turn out so good. So many programs did not air. Luckily it was back on in time for Country Café. We had a great show. We had so many requests, and it was a lot of fun. Thanks for all the calls. Oh yeah, I have to tell ya’ll this. On Saturday, I washed my car. Yes, I, myself, washed it. Yes, you can laugh now, but it’s true, and it looks so clean. I did good. Monday night’s karaoke was great, and the votes are in. I am so excited for the winner. That person is my favorite. Tune in next Monday to see who won. This coming week is going to be so much fun. Lots of exciting stuff going on. I’ll tell you all about it next week. Make sure you watch Country Café on Saturday night. We shot this episode at Nags Head. Lighthouses, sand, sun, and the beach makes for a great show, so don’t miss it. That’s about all for now. Have a great week!

Hey Everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well this week. I learned something very interesting Friday night. I learned how to peel a banana like a monkey. It was so funny. I hope you watched Country Cafe on Saturday night. It was a great show. We missed Justin, but Lee did a great job on the board. We went to Ribeyes on Sunday. That is one of the best restaurants ever. If you haven't been, you should really go. Monday night's Karaoke was great. The singers get better every week. Some of them are so talented. That's about all I've done. It may sound like I haven't done that much, but I have really been busy. I just realized that I have made almost 500 updates on Twitter. That's crazy. You guys should follow Country Cafe on Twitter. It's the best place to find out what's going on with the show. You  can get there from the Coutry Cafe page on this website, and while you're there, watch our new intro and tell us what you think. You can also go to twitter.com/countrycafewhig. We have a bunch of new videos to play this Saturday so make sure you watch the show. Thats about all for now. Have a good and safe week!

Hey everyone,

This is my 20th blog. That's like almost 5 months. That's a really long time. This past week has been very long. My aunt died Saturday morning, and that just ruined the whole day. On Saturday night, we had a great Country Cafe. Cody's sister, Catie, was on there, and it was so much fun. I finally got my new phone on Sunday. I'm so excited. I got a "Blackberry Storm", and it is so awesome. I have fallen in love with it. Monday morning, I registered for my classes for the fall semester. As usual, I have a great schedule. I'm so glad I got Mrs. Pitt again for my last math class ever. I am so happy, although I'm going to miss math, it's my best subject. I also signed up for public speaking. I am so excited about that class. I'm also taking my last english class ever. The last class I signed up for was intro to film. I think that class will be a lot of fun. Monday night, Karaoke at Zaxby's was really good. We had a great winner. Some of the singers there are really talented. Tuesday night, I spent all night at the funeral home, and all morning Wednesday at the funeral. On Wednesday afternoon, I went to the library with Cody while he taped "Snakes Alive." Speaking of Cody, he is a really good assistant. It's so much fun having someone do everything for you. Although I've never really done anything for myself, it's still fun. This week is already almost over, sorry for the late blog. Because it's so late, this week will be slow since its already Thursday.  That's about all for now. Make sure you watch Country Cafe on Saturday night, and I'll update next week. Have a great week!

Hey everyone

I hope everyone is doing well. It's been a great week. I've done a lot since my last blog. On Wednesday, I took Sierra to see The Proposal, and it was just as good as the first time I saw it. I spent most of the rest of the week working on the intro. I went to see the fireworks Friday night since I wouldn't be able to Saturday nignt because of the show. I had a great 4th of July. We went swimming and had a small cookout with just the family, then of course Country Cafe. We had a great Country Cafe Saturday night. It was the 4th of July and we played all patriotic videos. We also premiered the new intro. That was a huge success, everybody loves it. We worked so hard on it, so I'm glad they did. We did our usual thing and finished it at the last minute so we had some corrections to make, so that's what I spent Sunday doing. Today was the worst day of the week. I spent most of the afternoon watching Michael Jackson's Memorial Service.  It was a beautiful service. I was never a Michael Jackson fan but the service made me realize he wasnt completly bad. I was ok until his daughter spoke at the end. That was the worst part, it was so sad. At this very moment I am watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua and it is the worst movie ever. That's about all for now so have a good week.

Hey Everyone,

I hope you all had a good week. I've had an interesting week. I went to see The Proposal Wednesday night after dance. It is a great movie. I don't think I stopped laughing the whole time. If you haven't seen it, it's a must. On Friday, I went swimming and got bitten by a horsefly. Who gets bitten by a horsefly? I now hate them, it was not fun. On Saturday morning, we left for the beach. We filmed Country Cafe at Nags Head. The first thing we did was see Bodie Island Lighthouse, and that was the worst part of the trip. After my foot was already hurting from the horsefly, I stepped on a cactus with the same foot. They are not even supposed to be there, it's not a desert. If you have never stepped on a cactus, I don't recommend it. It hurts, and it still hurts three days later. I think the best part of the trip was when we went to Cape Hatteras. We got to climb it, and it was so much fun. I've never walked up so many steps in my life. It's the tallest brick lighthouse in the world, so it was tall. They said climbing it was equivalent to walking up a twelve story building. It's a good thing I'm not scared of heights. We also went to see Jocky's Ridge before we left. We climbed one of the dunes for the show, and I think that was worse than climbing the lighthouse, but yet it wasn't half as big. I can't believe it's already July, although June did go by pretty slow. We are getting ready for our 4th of July show on Saturday night. How cool is it that the 4th falls on Saturday this year. I'm so excited. I also can't believe Michael Jackson died. He was someone who was supposed to live forever. I never pictured him dying. He will be missed. I also can't believe Billy Mays died. Who's going to do all of those commercials now? As someone said, "They say celebrities die in threes, leave it to Billy Mays to throw an extra one in completely free." That's about all for now. Have a great week!

Hey Everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm great in case anybody was wondering. I had a really fun week this past week. First of all, on Wednesday, I went to a Merle Haggard concert. I'm not a Merle Haggard fan, but he is a legend. Of course I also had dance on Wednesday. We finally learned what we were doing wrong in the flips, so we should be getting better at that. Then on Thursday, I went to see Beatlemania. Honestly, I wasn't a Beatle fan either, but I'm starting to like their music. They didn't sing "Yellow Submarine" though, which is my favorite Beatle song. Then there was Friday, it was the best day of the week. I went to the Keith Urban/Sugarland concert. (Wheeler would kill me if he knew I started those sentences with then, and he wasn't even my English teacher.) That was so much fun. I didn't think Sugarland would be that good, but they basically put on their own concert. As usual, Keith Urban was great. He is so fan oriented. If you haven't been to one of his shows, it's a must. On Saturday, we had our first live episode of Country Cafe in three weeks. It was so much fun. We had so many phone calls. We love talking to the viewers and taking their requests so thanks to everyone that called in. Sunday was Father's Day, and I hope all the fathers had a good one. We took my dad to Lonestar for Father's day. Idk why, but it is one of his favorite places. Karaoke was great fun on Monday night. We had a luau, and everyone was all dressed up, I think it's the best one we've had in a while. We had a lot of new singers, so that was good. Today we filmed Country Cafe by the pool. It's always so much fun when theres water involved. There are so many great opportunities, jk. We also filmed the first part of our brand new intro today. That was a blast. We had to do it like fifty times but I think it will come out pretty good. Now I know why artist spend all day shooting a four minute video, it's rather complicated. Looking back on this week, it's a good thing I like music. Hopefully this week will just as much fun. To find out what happens, read the next volume. The End! Ok, I'm done with my book now, jk.  Have a great week!!

Hey Everyone,

I just finished watching the CMT Awards. They were pretty good. I think Taylor Swift was in them a little too much, but it was a good show. I was glad Brad Paisley won Male Video and Toby Keith sang "God Love Her," which is one of my favorite songs. It has been a short week. I went to Salisbury this past weekend. That was a lot of fun. I went to a Fundraiser Festival for the Childrens Home there, and it was hot. I'm not one of those people that like festivals, but the band was good. I have also become obsessed with twitter in the last couple of weeks. I'm always on there, it's so weird, and you can now follow Country Cafe on twitter so make sure you do that. So, its been a few weeks since I hired Cody as my personal assistant, and he is doing a really good job. He gets me things that I need, like refills on drinks or what not. He also does my schedule, so I always know what I'm doing and when I'm doing it.  I could get used to this. I hope everybody watched Country Cafe saturday night. We gave a tour of the station. I didn't get to see it, but it was pretty fun taping it. The most exiting thing last week was still the Kenny Chesney tickets. I am so excited. This week is a busy week for me. On Wednesday I am going to see Merle Haggard, who I have never seen in concert.  On Thursday, I am going to see Beatlemaina. And Friday, the best day of the week, I am going to the Keith Urban/Sugarland concert, which should be so much fun. Then on Saturday, we are doing Country Cafe live for the first time in forever, so I can't wait for that. I would also like to wish a Happy Father's Day to all of the dads, especially mine. So lots to do this week. Loves it. That's about all for now, so have a great week!

Hey Everyone,

This past week has been awesome. I went to Lake Gaston this past weekend. We left Thursday and came home Sunday. We had a lot of fun. We stayed in the best cabin ever. My loft was huge. It rained there all day Friday, but other than that it was good weather. We went boat riding Saturday, and I almost got thrown off the boat once, so that was fun. I was ready to go home on Sunday though, I missed Trixie. On Country Cafe Saturday night, we were stuck in a elevator. That was not fun. It was so hot in there, I could barley breath. It was interesting. On Monday we celebrated all the seniors graduating. I am so excited. Today, I bought Kenny Chesney tickets. I am so ready for the concert. It's not summer without a Kenny Chesney concert. Tonight I went to my cousin's preschool graduation. Those kids were so cute. Then we all went to Cracker Barrel, they have really good food. I have a lot to do this week. Make sure you watch Country Cafe Saturday night, we are giving a tour of the tv station. You never know what you'll see there. Thats about all for now. Have a great week!

6/2/09 Blog # 14 Hey Everyone,

This past week, I had a lot of fun. Sierra came this weekend and that was fun. i didn't see her that much though; I was a little busy. On Saturday, I went boat riding at Lake Gaston. It was me, my mom, dad, and Herb. It was so much fun. There were way to many boats out there though. My cousin, Timmy, came to karaoke on Monday night, so that was a surprise. I'm a little sad, not really, but yeah. I just found out through twitter that Paris Hilton stole my phrase: "loves it." Ok, I'm sure she didnt steal it, but I didnt know she said that, so that was interesting.  This week will hopefully be fun. Gloria is coming, which is always pretty cool. Country Cafe is pretaped this week. We don't know where we will be pretaping yet though, unless you are reading this after wednesday. In that case, we have already pretaped. Wednesday is Cody's last day of school, and he is excited about that, so thats good. I've also learned that he is no help at all. JK. BTW, I hired Cody as my personal assistant, and he has to do everything for me now. Thats huge, I'm copying Paris Hilton now :). That's all for now. Have a great week!

Hey Everyone,

This past week has been crazy. Last Wednesday, I went to Myrtle Beach. It was a lot of fun, we stayed right across the street from Starbucks. I was a little stupid and got burnt and it hurt really bad. We went to the dixie stampede while we were there and that was a lot of fun. It was a really good show and the food was good, although I missed the forks and stuff when they made us eat with our hands. On Saturday, my cousin decided to have a yard sale, so I had to get up super early at like 8, but then I went home at 12 and slept like the rest of the day. Then on Country Cafe, Justin announced he graduated and got into State, which im still questioning his sanity about that, jk. On Monday, I spent like all day almost at the house with the hostage and that was fun, even though my mom was terrified. We celebrated Dean's last night on karaoke on Monday night, and it was kinda sad. We're gonna miss him; but on the plus side, there was cake. This week Country Cafe is pretaped from the City Lake, so hopefully that will be a good episode.Tthats about all for now, have a great week!

Hey Everyone,

Another week another blog. This is my 12th blog. It doesn't seem like I've been writing them that long. This past week has been a lot fun. On Saturday I took new pictures for the website, they were really good. The funniest thing happened right before Country Cafe started on Saturday night. Right before we went on, the table broke. We were celebrating Cody's birthday and when the table broke the cake almost went on his head. That was pretty funny. After the show we went to sluggers with Sierra and that was fun. I won and then went to Applebees. On Sunday I went to my cousin's
birthday party and got saved from a 2 year old by a 4 year old. Don't judge me. Today was Cody's birthday, he got his license and I swear he hit my car. jk. This week is going to be so much fun. Its Memorial day, and we are having a cookout and Country Cafe on Saturday so that should be fun. Thats about all for now. Have a great week!

Hey Everyone,

So I just got home from dance and that was a lot of fun. We are starting to do the flips now so that's interesting. My summer break has finally started and I'm having so much fun. I went to Edenton on Saturday for the Jason Aldean Concert and that was a lot of fun. We had really good seats and he put on a great show. We also had a special episode of Country Cafe for Mother's Day on Saturday night. This week on the show we are celebrating Cody's Birthday. I doubt we will have cake.

We have a lot of stuff for everyone to look forward to this summer. First of all we are taking Country Cafe on the road and shooting away from Rocky Mount. Also, we will be shooting some more videos through B & C Productions. We haven't picked the songs yet but we are working on it. There are some more surprises as well but you'll have to watch to see them. That's about all for now. Have a great week!

Hey Everyone,
This past week was a mixture of a lot of fun and a lot of not so fun. On Monday we had the very first karaoke at Zaxby's. That was so much fun and the food was so much better than the moose. Everybody should go on Monday. Then Tuesday was like the worst day of the week. I hurt my foot so i couldnt walk til like saturday. I had to miss dance and everything. I had my first exam on Thursday in English and I hope I did good on it. Saturday was the one year anniversary of Country Cafe. That was a lot of fun. We showed some of our best moments and had cake. We had some really good callers too. Then after the show we all went to sluggers and that was fun.
This week is a very special week. First of all my last day of classes is Tuesday and I am SO excited. On Saturday we are going to the Jason Aldean Concert in Edenton so that should be fun. Most importantly Sunday is Mothers Day. It the most important day of the year for mothers so don't forget your mom next Sunday and Happy Mother's day to all the Mothers out there. Have a great week!!!

Hey Everyone,
This past week not a lot was going on. It's the end of the semester and all my classes are coming to an end so I have exams to study for. I sprainged my foot today and can't walk so thats not good. We did Country Cafe from the beach last saturday. It was a good episode except none of the Country Cafe team was there. Cody was out of town and Justin had something to do. With no Justin we had a new technician, Jason. He did really good. We should all be back this week so make sure you watch. The Hurricanes won round one, now its off to the cup. Pretty excited about that even though I'm not a hockey fan. I'm out now so have a good week!

Hey everyone,

Once again I'm writing this on Wednesday night so sorry its late. Its the end of the semester and so I have been doing a ton of work and writing quite a few papers. I'm almost done, only one and a half more weeks. Yay!!!! So obviously you know that I haven't done very much this past week. We did Country Cafe live this past saturday and that was fun. We had a great show. This week we are pretaped. We shot this episode from Atlantic Beach a couple weeks ago. It was a lot of fun, just wet. I think it rained the entire time we were there. So that should be a pretty good episode. Thats about all for now. Have a great week!

This weekend is a really big weekend. The Relay for Life event is this weekend and WHIG has a tent so I will be there almost all of friday and saturday. I think it will be a lot of fun and its for a good cause.

Hey Everyone,

So I just left the UNC game at Barton College against the Cyclone All-Stars.  It was so much fun.  All the seniors from UNC were there except Tyler Hansbrough.  I got to interview all of them.  Bobby Frasor, Mike Copeland, Danny Green, and OMG, Patrick Moody.  I was so excited he was there.  It was a blowout game.

This week I don't really have a lot going on; especially since I'm writing this Wednesday night.  I have Country Cafe on Saturday night, and it's our one year anniversary, so make sure you watch it.  Have a great week!

Hey Everyone,
I'm sure you all know what this blog is going to be about so ill just get to it. OMG. We Are NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, the best in the country.YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I am SO Excited and SO Happy right now. Carolina is the best of the best. We won 89-72 which is pretty good and omg Moody got to play. I love him, he is awesome. He is a bencher or a walk on if you dont know who he is. Thats the great news but the sad news is that Tyler Hansbrough, Danny Green, Mike Copeland, Bobby Frasor and Patrick Moody are leaving. Thats ok though b/c there are still some pretty good players that will be there next year and the Tarheels will be better than ever. But omg, they won I'm still SO excited. I didn't sleep much monday night. I wanted to be on Franklin Street so bad, maybe next year and omg UNC is the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok I'll stop now.
So this week is going to be really fun. I am probably at a hockey game right now if its tuesday night and I hope the Hurricanes win. I watched the ACM Awards Sunday night. They were pretty good except Kenny Chesney didn't win anything, but thats ok b/c he was rewarded a key to the playboy club and he sang his new song "Out Last Night" which is an awsome. This weekend is Easter and I hope everyone has a Happy Easter! And did i mention that The North Carolina Tarheels are NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok I had to do that.

Hey everyone,

This week has been so much fun. First of all, Carolina beat Gonzaga and Oklahoma. That means we are now in the Final Four!!!  We went to the beach this weekend to film Country Cafe.  We had so much fun, even though it was raining.  We went to the aquarium and filmed a lot there.  We walked the nature trail.  It was a half of a mile.  Can you believe Cody walked that far?  It took about thirty minutes.  It was so much fun, and we saw a snake.  We filmed part of it on the ocean and the water was so cold.  We should have thought twice about doing that.  Even though it rained the whole time we were there, we still had a blast.  After all, a rainy day on Evans St. is better than a sunny day on Sunset.

As I'm writing this, I'm sitting here watching Cody edit a commercial.  It is very boring.  Hopefully, this week will be more exciting.  Carolina is in the Final Four Saturday playing Villanova.  Hopefully it will be like the other games and we will advance to the National Championship Game.  On tuesday, I'm going to a hockey game, so that will be fun.

The bad thing about next week is that Cody is leaving for a whole week. That means I will have a whole week of peace. A whole week with no one to bother me. A whole week to do whatever I want. Oh wait, wouldnt that be a good thing? JK. I'm gonna miss him. Thats about all for now. Have a great week!!!

Hey everyone,
March is almost over. That means I only have about six weeks of school left and I have a lot of work to do. I can't wait til summer. Hopefully it won't rain all summer. It has been raining here forever. It finally stopped and now its supposed to start back and rain this weekend. This past week has been kind of a slow week. I had a biology midterm last Thursday so I spent most of the week studying for that. Then on Friday I went to Greenville. We went to Olive Garden, which is my favorite restaurant so that was fun. On Saturday was the Carolina game, which we won and made for an interesting Country Cafe. We had to pretape the first 30 minutes and some of it wasn't so pretty. On Sunday I worked the door at the Twin County Hall of Fame and met so many people.
This week is hopefully going to be a good one. Carolina plays on Friday night and we are supposed to go to the beach this weekend to tape an episode of Country Cafe. Its supposed to rain on Saturday but its the beach so who cares. Its going to be so much fun. That's about all for now. Have a great week!

Hey everyone,
So this past week wasn't exactly the best week. First of all we didn't get to go to the beach to tape Country Cafe this past weekend because of the weather, the horrible weather. It's all good though; we got the chance to do the show live and that was a lot of fun. We had decorations and a pot of gold and cookies. I have to say that the cookies were a bad idea though, I ate most of them before I even got to the station that night. The worst part of the weekend was Saturday afternoon when Carolina lost to Florida State. It was horrible, it kept us out of the final game. As if that wasn't enough, Duke won. That's all i heard on Sunday from Wayne. If you don't know who he is, he is the morning show host on Mondays and he is a huge duke fan. Wayne has refused to talk to me the past couple weeks because Duke just isn't good enough to be Carolina but when they went further in the tournament, well that's all I heard all afternoon on Sunday, and yes, it's true, I did tell him to shut up but I had a good reason to. It was a joke though. Tuesday was the best day. It was St. Patrick's Day. That is one of my favorite holidays, although I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to pinch anyone jk.
This week is going to be very exciting. On Wednesday me and Cody will actually be going to dance for the first time in forever and we haven't practiced so that will be interesting. The NCAA tournament starts Thursday and Carolina plays and we are going all the way, hopefully. Saturday is the big St. Patricks Day parade in Raleigh and we are thinking about going. Then of course Saturday night we have Country Cafe which is always fun. I think that's about all for this week so have a great week!

Hey everyone,
This past week has been a great week. It was kind of a slow week up until Saturday. Saturday was the relay for life auction. It was so much fun. It started at 10 AM. We had some really good items this year. It finally ended that night around 4 in the morning so I didn't get to bed until like 5:30 AM, so that was fun. Sunday was a great day. Carolina beat Duke on Sunday 79-71. That was a great game.
This coming week is going to be so much fun, although kinda scary b/c of Friday the 13th. First of all on Friday Carolina plays their first game in the ACC tournament. Tuesday is St Patrick's Day and I am so excited. So make sure you wear green. Thats about all for now. Btw, I'm writing this at one in the morning and I have a 9 o'clock class in the morning so I'm going to stop now. Have a great week!

3/3/09 Blog # 1 Hi everyone,

So this is my first blog. I am very excited about it. This is something new we will be doing every week. In addition to this one there will be a Country Cafe blog as well so make sure you check these out every week. Speaking of Country Cafe, I will not be doing it this week. Saturday is the annual Relay for Life auction so it will be taking the place of Country Cafe.

This has been an awesome week. Friday night I went to the Julianne Hough concert in Tarboro. It was so much fun, she is really good in concert. I had the opportunity to meet her after the show and that was a lot of fun. She did some country cafe promos and you can see one of them on our intro. Then on Saturday night I did Country Cafe, which was fun. We had a special guest and a very interesting caller. Oh, and Justin brought potatoes. Then it snowed Sunday night and Monday. That was the best. It hardly ever snows, and I missed my morning classes and got to sleep late so that was fun. It only snowed a little here but I heard they had a blizzard in the mountains. One of my best friends lives there and she didn't like it so much. I think we should trade places. Anyway that's about all for now, I'll talk to you next week!
